Pink darkness

I wanted to do a dark style look with a bright colour, and a colour that has been calling out to me is Dollipop by Sugarpill! It's the most delicious bright pink and I totally love it.

I kept the look simple but striking. The Sugarpill pressed shadows have definately caused a recent trend for me to use almost everything matte in a look and this combination definitely grabbed me. And I absolutely couldn't resist pairing it with a bright pink lip.

I think this look would look good with any bright colour combination; absolutely any eye shadow from the Sweetheart palette would work perfectly with a black crease like this.

I'd love to wear this look again, especially with winged liner and even pink glitter all over the lid.

Note: Dollipop does stain your lids if you don't use a base. A white cream base or eyeliner completely removes this problem and NYX Jumbo eye pencils help a lot. I personally don't mind and the colour staining isn't very strong anyway.
